Bees
For more than 9 years I’ve now been able to enjoy the wonderful and fascinating life of bees through the eyes of a beekeeper. No year is the same, bees are a dynamic, unpredictable, and incredibly lively lot 🙂 In all these years I haven’t stopped learning from them and have to admit that this is one of the most rewarding hobbies I have. I occasionally blog on what I’m doing with my bees (in German though), details can be found here. Essentially my bees keep me occupied during spring and summer, when nature ist thriving and thus help me find a perfect balance between a demanding professional life in the IT sector and an earthen rural setting. Either one is conducive to the other and wonderfully complementary.
